FAQs

1. Do you accept international health insurance?

We accept Cigna, Allianz, and Globally DKV. We accept direct payment for the following international health insurance companies: - Cigna International - Allianz - Globally DKV We can claim directly, but the patient is responsible for any balance. Patients must leave credit card information to allow us to deduct any balance not paid by the insurance company. Patients not residing in Japan or leaving soon will need to pay in full and claim themselves. For all other types of insurance, we help patients fill out forms when possible. All our forms and receipts are in English and coded with ADA codes.

2. Do you accept Japanese National Health Insurance?

We are NOT a provider for Japanese National Health Insurance (国民健康保険 Kokumin Kenko-hoken) or Employees' Health Insurance (社会健康保険 Kenkō-Hoken). Many procedures such as white fillings, porcelain crowns, veneers, and implants are not covered by National Health Insurance. Under the NHI, fees are often insufficient for comprehensive treatment plans and quality care. Our philosophy is to treat you as if you were our own family. We provide quality work efficiently and comfortably, using professional judgment to decrease the risk of further damage. For more information on tax deductions for medical expenses, refer to "Reduction for Medical Care Costs."
